Liquid Nitrogen Safety

When working with liquid nitrogen, you must wear waterproof cryogenic gloves, a cryogenic apron, safety goggles, and a full face shield.

If you are asked to fill a fluorescence detector dewar, you should do so according to the SOP located in the 20-BM-B experimental hutch door. If you are not comfortable performing this task, do not proceed. Instead, ask for assistance from a member of the Spectroscopy Group staff.
