Liquid Nitrogen Safety

When working with liquid nitrogen, you must wear waterproof cryogenic gloves, a cryogenic apron, safety goggles, and a full face shield.

If you are asked to fill a fluorescence detector dewar, you should do so according to the SOP located in each of the experimental hutch doors. As with all tasks, ask for assistance from a member of the sector staff if you are not confident doing this.
