Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Chemical protective eyewear with side shields is required for all personnel present in the wet lab. Safety goggles are available in the acrylic holders outside each door to the lab.

Impervious gloves are required when working with chemicals. Nitrile gloves are available in various sizes in acrylic holders on either side of the two main work stations near the fume hood. The gloves you use must be resistant to the chemicals you are working with. Check with a member of the sector staff if you're unsure.

Chemical Eye Wash and Shower   A chemical shower and eye wash station is located near the Plas Labs glovebox in the wet lab.
